- Obtain a proper evaluation
- Representation at the Individualized Education Program (IEP) team meeting
- Drafting the complaint in special education
- Representation at resolution sessions and mediation
- Representation at due process hearings
- Representation in federal court after due process hearing.
Special Education Enforcement
If you are not receiving the special education programs and services that are in your childs Individualized Education Program (IEP), there are things I can do to help you and your family. By filing a complaint with the Michigan Department of Education, I can help you get the help you deserve. Your school owes you compensatory education, and they must follow the obligation of the IEP.

Children in Private Schools
Children in private school face a different set of obstacles and have a different set of options available. Under the Michigan Auxiliary Services Act, children in private schools can obtain speech and language services, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and teacher consultant services. Private school students may also be able to attend special education classes in public schools.
